As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible service, we have decided to end the life (EOL) of our current payment gateway service at 23:59 on 10th October 2024. We understand the critical role our payment gateway plays in your business, and we want to ensure a seamless transition to a new and improved solution.
Introducing Our New Payment Gateway Solution
We are excited to announce the launch of our new payment gateway solution in partnership with Cardstream. Our new solution offers several benefits, including:
- Support for Apple Pay and Google Pay: Provide your customers with more payment options and a seamless checkout experience.
- Recurring Card Authorisation: Easily manage subscriptions and recurring payments with our streamlined recurring card authorisation feature.
- Advanced Features: Enhanced security, faster processing times, and improved reporting tools.
- Developer-Friendly: Leverage existing plugins for CMS systems like WooCommerce, Magento, and other popular eCommerce platforms, making integration straightforward.
- Dedicated Support: While we provide guidance, your developers will need to play an active role in the migration process.
Please note that the pricing for the new payment gateway will remain the same as your current pricing. There are no changes to the transaction fees or other associated costs, ensuring continuity for your business as you transition to the new platform.
What You Need to Do
The first step is to notify your current acquirer that you will be switching to the Cardstream gateway. The acquirer will either issue a new MID (Merchant Identification Number) or allow you to continue using your existing one. Once you receive confirmation from your acquirer, please forward this information to our team at [email protected], and we will then commence the setup of your new gateway with your new or existing MID and provide all the information you need to pass onto your developer.
Please note: Due to PCI compliance requirements, customer card data will not be migrated to the new payment gateway.
After you are onboarded to the new gateway, we can provide your developer with test credentials upon request, allowing them to simulate transactions for testing purposes. This can be arranged once you have received your user login details for the new payment gateway portal.
We encourage you to use the pre-made website modules available at Cardstream’s GitHub repository
, which contain various plugins and modules compatible with multiple eCommerce platforms, simplifying the process.
Are You a Clubwise User?
If you are using Clubwise, the Clubwise team will handle most of the integration with the new payment gateway for you. However, you will still need to inform your current acquirer (bank) that you are switching to Cardstream and confirm whether you will be retaining your current MID or receiving a new one.
Once you receive confirmation from your acquirer, please forward the details to us at [email protected], and we will update the gateway accordingly. The Clubwise team will ensure a smooth and seamless transition with minimal disruption to your operations.
Key Dates to Note
- The Gateway Is Now Live: The new payment gateway is fully operational, and we are in the process of onboarding all current merchants. You will receive your new gateway login details the week commencing the 16th September.
- 23:59 on 10th October 2024: We will stop processing payments through the current gateway at this time, so we encourage you to begin the transition process as early as possible to avoid any disruptions.
